HELPING H@NDS MINISTRY
GraceWay Church offers free-of-charge support to those who need help with computers, tablets, phones, DVR, smart devices, cameras, and more. Our team of volunteers bring years of knowledge and hands on experience to bear to help those who need help with today’s technology.
Formed back in 2006, the group offers, as its ministry, technical support for anyone who needs it. They’ve helped install software, removed malware, set up wireless routers, moved folks into their new computers, scrubbed old computers prior to donation/discard, setup printers, helped recover from failures and more.
Of recent interest to the team is educating folks on the threat of scams, spams, rip-offs, and malware. They’ve compiled their findings into a one-hour seminar and have collaborated with local authorities to present their inoculation to local community groups. Their informative “FixitB4” checklist, presented during the seminar, helps arm participants against those who would steal your information, your money, and your time.
