2026 VBS Illumination Station
2026 VBS Illumination Station | July 13-17, 8:45am-12pm
THANK YOU to all who answered the call to lead kids in answering the question Jesus asked his disciples, "Who do you say that I am?" Through games, crafts, music, snacks and Bible stories, kids will discover that Jesus is the light of the world!
VOLUNTEERS
Our Bible classes and all but one of our rotations have adult teachers and we only need one of two more youth leaders for the 4th-6th grade classes. If you are, or have a friend, going into 8th grade or into high school, we would love to have you join us in engaging kids in learning about Jesus during the most fun week of the year! Teens are so important to making VBS a wonderful experience for every child that attends. We love volunteers who love to point kids to Jesus!
If music is your passion and you love to praise God through songs and movement, please prayerfully consider leading the worship team! If you are available to serve or have a friend you can invite, share the registration information at gracewaylife.org/vbs
PRAYER
With all the many details that go into preparing for VBS week, prayer is often the most overlooked and underutilized tool we have. The focus on prayer does not only apply to the week of VBS but also to every part of the planning process - the campers and their families, the volunteers and their families, training, follow-up, etc. Please pray that we all remember that the goal of all of the hard work and planning is not VBS itself but using VBS as a tool to point kids to the truth of who Jesus really is. Thank you for praying for VBS over the next four weeks, the week of VBS and how to connect with kids making a decision to follow Jesus after VBS is over.

All Children’s and Youth Leaders: Thank you!
As the school year winds down and summer approaches, we want to thank all of the volunteers who served kids and youth this past year in Sunday morning classes, Tuesday night Youth Group, KC Kids and Sound Partners (reading with K-2nd graders at Valley View). What a blessing you have been to the children and youth you have served so faithfully. We hope that you will prayerfully consider continuing to serve over the summer and in the next school year.
As God blesses us with new families, new leaders of kids and youth is crucial! If you are called to try something new and have a heart for sharing Jesus with kids and youth, please prayerfully consider joining the GraceWay Kids team on Sundays or lead Youth Group on a Sunday or Tuesday night, NOW. Partner with experienced leaders and discover the joy of getting to know our kids and teens better while sharing the gospel with them.
Consider giving a couple of hours a week at KC Kids or a half hour to an hour one or two days a week to help struggling readers as a Sound Partner when the new school year starts. It has been a tremendous blessing to serve the community at Valley View in these ways!
